▏About Material▕

Black Tailors uses marble waste from the East coast of Taiwan which is grinded into a fine sand-like powder. This powder is then mixed with a special adhesive and pressurized to create a lightweight pliable fabric. Each fabric with it's own unique pattern is shaped into one-of-a-kind bags, passport holders, wallets and other personal accessories.

▏Maintenance▕

Unlike digital printing, we recycle scrap of marble and ground it into powder, though pressing to make bonding fabric. The marbled surface shows natural vein lines with real sense of touch. Followings are the instructions for maintenance:

Items for cleaning: cotton cloth, cup, and neutral detergent (Ex: dishwashing liquid)

 

Cleaning steps:

1_ Make bubble water with neutral detergent in the cup

2_Soak cotton cloth with bubble water and wipe clean the dirt in circles

3_ Wipe off the water on surface

4_ Air-dry it! Remember, don't expose it under the sun directly

Reminder: Store your marble bag in a dry environment, and keep away from the easy-stained objects to avoid becoming yellow or staining with other colors.
